The Prairie Enthusiasts is a grassroots, volunteer based organization concerned with the maintenance and recovery of the tallgrass prairie and oak savanna ecosystems of Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
To protect and enhance our natural resources: our air, land and water; our wildlife, fish and forests and the ecosystems that sustain all life. To provide a healthy, sustainable environment and a full range of outdoor opportunities. To ensure the right of all people to use and enjoy these resources in their work and leisure. To work with people to understand each otherís views and to carry out the public will. And in this partnership consider the future and generations to follow.

Fox/Wolf Rivers Environmental History Project
Using maps, stories, photos and songs, this website tells the history of Northeast Wisconsin's Fox and Wolf Rivers. The emphasis is on environmental history. Reflections on how people have used, abused and protected rivers, lakes and wetlands.

Alliance for Animals
