S.E.E.K.Welcome to SEEK (Sharing Environmental Education Knowledge) a place to find Minnesota resources for environmental education. The SEEK directory works as a clearinghouse for all types of environmental education resources, from articles to lesson plans, from performances to displays, and many more. These resources come from a variety of organizations throughout Minnesota, including schools and colleges, government agencies, libraries and businesses.
Minnesota Wolf Alliance The timberwolf, or eastern gray wolf, which was nearly hunted to extinction in the lower 48 states, has been protected under the Endangered Species Act since the early 1970s. In Minnesota, their numbers have recovered as a result of that protection and also because environmental groups have stopped proposed wolf hunting through lawsuits over the last twenty year period.

SOARSOAR is a collectively run student/community group at the University of Minnesota working to promote the awareness and advocacy of animal rights. SOAR works to expose and abolish all forms of animal exploitation and abuse. By targeting animal agriculture, animal research, the fur industry, animal entertainment, hunting, and other industries that violate and torture animals, SOAR aims to minimize the amount of suffering that humans cause animals and establish a society free of human intervention in animal lives.
Cottonwood FoundationCottonwood Foundation, a charitable, tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization, is dedicated to promoting empowerment of people, protection of the environment, and respect for cultural diversity. The foundation focuses its funding on committed, grass roots organizations that rely strongly on volunteer efforts and where foundation support will make a significant difference. At least 90% of Cottonwood Foundation's expenditures will be for grants to other organizations.
