School of Natural Resources and Environment
S.N.R.E.
In 1950, the University of Michigan formally established the School of Natural Resources, the first of its kind in the world, but the study of natural resources and environmental problems has been part of the University for over 100 years. Fittingly, the School changed its name to the School of Natural Resources and Environment in 1992. The School remains an international leader in educating students to be innovative and effective stewards of the environment.

Great Lakes Radio Consortium (GLRC)

The Center for Environmental Study, a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1969 and located at Grand Rapids Community College, serves its community as an independent, science-based environmental education and research authority.
