Environmental Law Society (ELS)The William S. Richardson School of Law is noted for the involvement of
members of the Environmental Law Society (ELS) in environmental issues. Since
its creation in 1977, the student-run ELS has steadily built a program of
education, scholarship, and public service. The ELS is now one of the most
active and largest of the student organizations at the school of law.
National Tropical Botanical GardenThe National Tropical Botanical Garden is dedicated to the conservation of tropical plant
diversity, particularly rare and endangered species. Medicine, food, shelter - the potential uses
of many plant species are not known. Yet they are becoming extinct at an alarming rate.
