Coastal Environmental Organization of GeorgiaThe Coastal Environmental Organization of Georgia
has been formed by a group of coastal residents who
are concerned about the growing threats to our
irreplaceable coastal resources. Private water
brokers are attempting to monopolize the water in
our coastal rivers; sewage is being spilled into our
streams; saltwater is finding its way further and
further inland, destroying important freshwater
ecosystems; the birds and sea turtles are competing for nesting space on the
beaches; and wildlife habitat is being lost at an alarming rate. The landscape of
the Georgia coast is being profoundly and permanently changed.

email list of 210, and a voice at an Institute of more than 14,000 students. We encourage you to

beyond, as well as any ideas you may have.
