Save Arnold Drive and West Sonoma Valley Conservation League
Since 1988 SAD has pressed for the policy to keep development of the Arnold Drive Corridor in Sonoma Valley California restricted to residential and agricultural projects in addition to preserving as much open space, valley oaks, wetlands and natural lands as possible. Current projects include resisting location of the Sebastiani-Presentation School on Arnold Drive in partnership with RAM - Reject Arnold Madness, which would endanger sensitive riparian and valley oak habitat, fighting for preservation of wetlands at Sears Point Raceway and voicing concerns over environmental mis-management of Ernie Smith Park on Arnold Drive in Sonoma Valley.

Wildlife Interest Group
As David Jablonski recently observed, "our species . . . is on the brink of causing, single-handedly, the worst mass extinction in 65 million years." Drawing upon the findings from island biogeography studies, Norman Myers estimates that we are losing between 50-200 species per day, a rate 120,000 greater than the background rate during prehistoric times. Worse still, the rate is accelerating rapidly.

California League of Conservation Voters
The California League of Conservation Voters is the nation's largest and oldest state political action organization for the environment. Founded in 1972, the League mobilizes California voters to support environmentally responsible candidates and issues, and serves as a watchdog to hold elected officials accountable for their environmental votes. The League is a non-partisan organization supported by 30,000 members, working in coalition with a wide spectrum of environmental and community groups.
