Alaska Rainforest Campaign (ARC) The Alaska Rainforest Campaign (ARC) is a coalition of national and Alaska conservation groups that work to protect the remaining wildlands of the Tongass and Chugach National Forests from clearcutting and other harmful development.

Our mission is the protection of Alaska's natural wildlife for its intrinsic value as well as for the benefit of present and future generations. Alaska Climate Research Center The main mission of this center is to respond to inquiries concerning the meteorology and climatology of Alaska from public, private and government agencies, and from researchers around the world. Most of the climatological data available for Alaska have been accumulated in Fairbanks and by the state climatologist (Dwight Pollard) in Anchorage at the Alaska State Climate Center (1 907 257 2737). Our center, the Alaska Climate Research Center (1 907 474 7885), issues long-term climatological records and monthly summary weather reviews which are published in several newspapers around the state.
